A nice informal gathering in Shed 3b last night. John and Jesse were absent - the latter suffering violent 'holiday tummy with added projectile vomiting' while away on holiday in Greece. Our sympathies go to him and his fellow passengers on the plane.
Shock news that Sheds 4a and 4b will not, after all, be converted into a microbrewery disappointed everyone, although, had plans been successful, I dread to think what would happen during rehearsals in 3b.
Other highlights of the evening included a brief guest appearance by Johnny 'Hot Fingers' Flindt on rhythm guitar; now that he has mastered the chords A, D and E, he is fully qualified to join in for over half our set.
Sadly, no-one seemed interested in the details of Charlie's day driving Aston Martins round Millbrook Proving Ground.
